Testimonials
One of the biggest things to come out of the process is that I feel a greater sense of calm about the future. I feel I have more direction and clarity about where I'm headed. - J.C.
Going through the process is very freeing because we now have a plan we don't have to get ahead of ourselves (like we were previously) and stress about all the stuff we want to do. Instead it allows us to be more present and focused on right now. We now feel like we ARE doing it not just talking about it. We have become more relaxed about the future. We are also enjoying the process of life more and not coming so much from the fear of missing out as we have in the past, its taken the anxiety out of the future for us both. Thank you. - Kath H
As a couple it has brought us closer together. This process is a great tool to reassess where we are going, its brought clarity to who has what goal and we both have the opportunity to support each other doing everything we desire and we both can add to each others lives. We use our plan to review our goals and will continue to do so. - Matt and Sally K
I found that this process assisted me to see how I wanted my life to look like and also get to see if my goals were workable in the timeframe I had given myself. - Alan P
As a couple we have shifted lots of old beliefs about having a life together that we love, we know that doing the 30 year plan brought this to the surface both of us feel we have more freedom and more choices from this process we both thank you for giving us this opportunity to look at our life and live it to the full. - D.S.
Yale University Study
In a 1953 study conducted at Yale University, students in the graduating class were asked whether they had a plan, with a set of written goals. Less than 3% had a clear plan of action and written goals.
Twenty years later, in 1973, the researchers interviewed the former students they'd surveyed in 1953. The 3% that had written goals were worth more than the other 97% combined!
Additionally, that 3% seemed happier, healthier and better adjusted in life than their counterparts who'd had no action plan or written goals.
Harvard Business Study
A Harvard Business study showed some remarkable figures relating to goals and success. It found that:
83% of the population does not have goals
14% of the population have unwritten goals, but only a plan in mind
3% of the population have goals written down.
The study found that the 14% who have goals are 10 times more successful than those without goals. The 3% with written goals are 3 times more successful that the 14% with unwritten goals.
Clearly, a person is more likely to achieve a goal if it is written down.
